Nurturing your child and fostering a love for learning
At The Children’s Place preschool, children are nurtured in a loving, Christ-centered environment that supports their social, emotional, and developmental growth. With engaging activities and personalized care, we help each child build confidence, explore their world, and prepare for future learning.
About Us
The Children’s Place, a ministry of Macedonia Baptist Church, operates as an extension of the church. Committed to aligning with Macedonia Baptist Church’s Statement of Faith, Purpose Statement, Vision Statement, and Core Values, The Children's Place creates a nurturing environment rooted in these guiding principles. For more information on these statements, visit www.mbcnc.org.
We believe every child is a unique gift from God. At The Children's Place, we are committed to meeting the needs of the whole child, understanding that each child develops at their own pace. Our mission is to nurture each child with the love of Jesus Christ and provide a Christ-centered educational environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive.

Our Commitment
At The Children's Place preschool in Cary (but with a Raleigh address), we take the responsibility of caring for your children very seriously. We value each individual child and recognize their unique personalities and how they learn. We want to help them grow, explore, and feel love and accepted. To do that, our goals are defined as:
- Help children grow in awareness of and experience God’s love for them through loving relationships with staff and other children
- Strengthen Christian values and faith through weekly chapel time, modeling, Bible stories and prayer
- Encourage children helping them to develop a healthy self-esteem
- Assist children in the growth of trust, independence, confidence and initiative
- Demonstrate that school and church are safe, happy environments
- Lead children in the exploration of the world around them discovering science, nature, weather, space, animals, and the passing of seasons
- Stimulate the development of small muscle groups through art, puzzles, blocks, and other learning activities
- Stimulate the development of large muscle groups through movement activities both indoor and out;
- Facilitate the enjoyment of creative expression through music and rhythm, arts and crafts, and role play
- Develop language skills through interaction with other children, teachers, and literature
- Prepare children to enter kindergarten
- Most importantly, it is our goal to be an open demonstration of God’s love as we assist you, your child, and your family.
Our Curriculum
The Children’s Place Preschool follows a theme-based curriculum designed to nurture children’s growth in all areas—mentally, emotionally, socially, physically, and spiritually. Each week, children engage in activities that incorporate Bible verses, hands-on learning experiences, and developmentally appropriate tasks tailored to different learning styles and abilities. Our structured yet playful approach fosters exploration through seasonal activities, chapel time, art, science, and math. As a play-based school, we emphasize learning through interactive, engaging and fun experiences. The Children’s Place Preschool curriculum is rooted in Christian principles and will not be modified to reflect other faith traditions. We uphold biblical teachings, including the foundation of family structure.
